On June 26, 2020, Ohio Senator Rob Portman visited the Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument to discuss the Restore Our Parks Act.
We Return Fighting Exhibition in Washington, D.C.
December 2019 – The We Return Fighting Exhibition, which opened at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, highlights nine people (exhibition luminaries), one of whom is Charles Young. Although the exhibition closed during the pandemic, view the highlights here.
Colonel Charles Young Memorial Highway – NPR Panel Discussion
In November of 2019, California renamed a portion of Highway 198 to commemorate Charles Young. To celebrate the unveiling, there was a panel discussion about Charles Young’s accomplishments and legacy on the local NPR station.
